I'm sitting in the Atlanta airport hoping I'll get on the next flight to Guatemala City. After not making it on two flights in Portland last night and making a 11pm decision to rent a car and try Seattle, which wasn't over sold on every flight out. No one told me it was a spring break nightmare. At midnight I was a passenger with another stranded in Portland standby traveler and we rented a car and headed north for a 3 hour drive. Went rather smoothly and we napped in the car after getting gas and getting close to the airport. I was lucky and made it on the first flight to Atlanta! I am already a day late for my retreat but My heart is already there. I'm meeting the teachers from India for 3 more weeks at Lake Atitlan Guatemala.
